Just wanted to drop you a note to say that I did your photography course back in 2019, which gave me a truly excellent foundation in photography.

Off the back of that, I've put in a hundred thousand hours or so, built a successful business, and I'm now a finalist to become the International Photographer of the Year.

Thank you for the work you do, I will continue to recommend your course to anyone and everyone that needs it.

You would be astounded how many "professional" photographers I encounter that don't have a solid grasp of the foundational principles you get in this course, a lack of knowledge that leaves them blaming their gear for their poor images.

Pay attention to the course, go out and take 5000 thought-out photos, and you won't believe how much better your work is than when you started, no matter what camera you're using.

Thanks again!

I just wanted to say thank you to Mark Timberlake and his on-line courses and learning group because after I have finished them, I got an acceptable photographer level and I could create my first products.

Last year, I was able to sell more than 1000 calendars and to donate the entire profit to the poor families of the Ecuadorian Andes.

Thank you for that!!!!

This is an excellent course. I have taken many courses on photography but no one has explained lighting the way Mark did. This is a must course for anyone keen on starting portrait photography studio. I am going to experiment with each of the techniques shared in this course. Very useful resource material as well.

By far the best photography course I have ever taken, and I have taken many.

Course starts slowly with steady pace which is perfect for me! i’m not overwhelmed by streams of information and advice that I might not use at all. I really enjoyed the course and now I'm completing my first photo studio. Thanks Mark!

~ Giuseppe C

This course is informative and focuses on what I am interested in which is composition instead of the technical aspects of photography.

Excellent, Fully worthwhile. I'm so glad I completed it. Made me open my eyes more than I thought. I now know, and understand how to take a photo not just a snap. Highly recommended.

Mark is very informative. everything I am learning has been great and has taught me a lot of things I had no idea of as a photographer.

I rediscovered my interest in photography last year having previously been a keen film photographer many years ago.

My knowledge of the basics was very rusty so I chose this course as it offered not only a solid grounding in the technical side of taking and editing pictures, but also modules on composition and how to observe and use light and colour.

I was also interested in setting up a portrait studio at home so this course ticked all the boxes for me.

I found the course engaging and easy to follow, and the tasks were particularly useful in helping me explore new ideas and improve my photos.

Mark obviously has a real passion for his subject and the fact that he offers the opportunity to follow up the course by sharing images for critique and advice in his Facebook group is particularly impressive and not something you find on many courses.

I have subsequently taken other courses and watched many YouTube tutorials, but I still come back to modules from this one.

I highly recommend this course for anyone just getting started with photography or wanting to take it to the next level, regardless of whether you are a using a mobile phone or a high end camera.
